As just published by the\u00a0National Association of College Admissions Counselors, NACAC<\/a>, a new college scholarship opportunity has opened.<\/p>\r\n

Provided by\u00a0The Journal of College Admission<\/a>\u00a0and NACAC, the organization\u00a0will grant US$1,000 to the seven students selected for submitting student-written articles about the college-transition and admission process (the college search, application process, transitioning from high school to college, etc).<\/p>\r\n

This contest is open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as college freshman and sophomore. The work of all finalists will be published in the Winter 2009 Special Edition of Journal of College Admission, entitled The Student Perspective: My Transition Experience.<\/p>\r\n
